The detailed and granular analysis in the Education Yardstick will allow you to highlight cost drivers, such as student population, staffing levels or salaries, or examine educational outcomes. In short, it is an ideal tool to help policy makers consider various aspects of delivering educational services.
In each case, the Education Yardstick utilizes our proprietary Benchmark Peer Group methodology. The Municipal Yardstick compares your community’s school district against its Benchmark Peer Group, the twenty most similar communities in Massachusetts derived by analyzing fifteen key socio-economic, demographic and geographic attributes.
